It may be a prefabricated structure, but Jomo Kenyatta’s new Terminal 2 sure looks amazing.
The new domestic terminal starts operation today, with Kenya Airways and Fly540 being the first airlines to use it.
President Uhuru Kenyatta was supposed to officially open it, but perhaps the confusion in the transport ministry could not allow it. Both the Transport Cabinet Secretary and the Permanent Secretary have stepped aside after being named on the corruption list, as well as Kenya Airports Authority MD Lucy Mbugua.
