It has been a long time coming. After a momentary hiatus, the Kenyan online community is back to its amusing self with regards to the viral ‘Challenge’ trend.
The newest Challenge follows the arrest of six people on Tuesday in connection with fake currency amounting to slightly over Sh2 billion at Barclays Bank, Queensway Branch in Nairobi.
During the arrest, pictures emerged showing the suspects trying to save face with bags covering their heads. This proved pointless because the DCI later published the suspects’ mugshots on Twitter revealing their identities.
Kenyans on Twitter(KOT) and other social platforms are now using the whole saga to mock the suspects and their attempts to hide their faces.
They are calling it the #BarclaysBankChallenge and here are some of the imitations.
