Over a week ago, the government resorted to a door-to-door operation to flush out illegal immigrants. The operation, dubbed ‘Operation Usalama Watch’, has seen at least 82 Somali nationals deported and scores more held up in police station and at the Safaricom Stadium Kasarani. This has resorted to massive criticism from human rights groups and the opposition.
However, Kaytrixx, a renowned disk jockey and now a performing artiste, has come out to support the good effort by the government to flush out aliens.
“Anyone who is not supposed to be here in Kenya should be deported .What’s their business?” He wrote on Twitter

When places are bombed we are the 1st to complain that the security agencies in the country have failed. Let them work. #ASaferKenya.

Carrying your national ID and showing it to the Police when stopped is not a big deal surely. It’s not like 100kg. Come on. — Mr. Kabochi Gakau (@kaytrixx) April 15, 2014
We are in our country. We should all feel safe. If what the Police is doing is going to ensure safety, let them work. #ASaferKenya — Mr. Kabochi Gakau (@kaytrixx) April 15, 2014
Anyone who is not supposed to be here in Kenya should be deported. What’s their business?? It doesn’t matter what part of the world.

I hope the Police will carry out the exercise in the whole country as well with the same level of vigilance.

After this excercise, the Police should now use their “intelligence” to get those Kenyans who are working with the terrorists.
