Wedding bells are ringing louder than ever for much-adored Kenyan songbird Vivian and her fiance, Sam West. This after the lovebirds held the Kikuyu traditional pre-wedding ritual otherwise known as Ruracio.
The “Attention” singer and her family hosted her fiancé’s family at the fun-filled affair in Kiserian on Saturday, March 3.
The glorious ceremony saw families from both parties get acquainted with each other and negotiate Vivian’s bride price. Sam West was also tasked with looking for his wife-to-be among the cluster of women wearing lessos as is custom.
Taking to social media, Vivian celebrated the ceremony saying, “We had a life-changing weekend. I asked God for strength and courage.. He sent my Husband.”
Vivian and Sam West got engaged in April last year, with the Hero FM CEO popping the question on live television during Vivian’s interview on Citizen TV’s 10 Over 10.
