The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Leagues and Competitions Committee has slapped AFC Leopards with a three-point deduction and a Sh500,000 fine following last Sunday’s botched match against Kakamega Homeboyz at the Bukhungu Stadium.
The committee has also ordered Leopards to play their next four league matches behind closed doors.
Further, the committee has ordered AFC Leopards to cater or refund incurred medical costs by center referee Michael Obuya, who was attacked by a section of Leopards fans on Sunday.

The match was abandoned in the 34th minute after Leopards fans invaded the pitch with hosts Homeboyz leading 1-0.
The fans were incensed after the referee failed to penalize the Homeboyz goalkeeper Farouk Shikhalo for handling the ball outside the box.
It took the intervention of police officers to quell the chaos that followed between rival fans.
On Wednesday, April 19, the committee also said it was investigating the Leopards head coach Patrick Aussems and goalkeeper trainer Lawrence Webo for their conduct during the match.
Homeboyz have been awarded the maximum three points from the match and a 2-0 win.
