The firstborn daughter of celebrity couple Nameless and Wahu has slammed a section of social media users for body-shaming her mother.
Wahu was subjected to vile comments after she shared a photo of herself at a meeting between Sports CS Ababu Namwamba and the recently Government-appointed Talanta Hela Creative Technical Committee.
The singer captioned the photos of the meeting: “Earlier today(Monday) the Creatives and Sports technical teams held our 1st joint committee meeting together with the CS. All I can say is that I’m excited about the future!
Grateful for the opportunity to serve 🙏🏾🇰🇪”
Following a barrage of comments about her postpartum weight gain, Wahu’s daughter Tumiso Mathenge leaped to her defense.
The 16-year-old noted she was saddened that most of the body shamers were fellow women.
Tumiso also reminded the trolls that her mum recently gave birth to her sister, Shiru.
“I just wanted to address the people body shaming Wahu on her recent post. I find it really sad that it’s mostly women talking about her body. Honestly expected better from us and she literally just had a baby. You guys need to grow up for real,” Tumiso wrote on Insta-stories.
Wahu made sure to repost her daughter’s message on her own Instagram.
