Korogocho MCA Absalom Odhiambo was Monday, February 6, arraigned at the Milimani Law Courts, facing two charges of incitement to violence.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina, Odhiambo pleaded not guilty to both counts.
The court released the ward representative on Ksh100,000 cash bail and cautioned him against interfering with witnesses or making comments on the case through the media.
Last week, Milimani principal magistrate Gilbert Shikwe freed Absalom Odiambo unconditionally after the Prosecution applied to detain him for seven days.
Shikwe ruled that the application was not based on any legal provision and directed the police to release Odhiambo with immediate effect.
On Sunday however, Raila Odinga claimed Odhiambo was rearrested and detained at Tigoni Police station.
