Jahmby Koikai Reacts With Humour to Reports She’s Dead

May 15, 2019

Njambi Koikai alias Jahmby is the latest Kenyan personality to be ‘killed’ on the internet.

The media personality has been battling Thoracic Endometriosis, a rare form of endometriosis which causes her lungs to collapse regularly. She has been in and out of the surgery room for about three years now before she was admitted to a hospital in the U.S for specialized treatment in February 2018.

On Tuesday, the former Trend host and panelist took to Instagram to shoot down reports that she is dead. And she employed humour, writing her post in heavy Sheng and joking that she is ready to put up a YouTube Channel about 1000 ways to stay alive.

“Kuna msee niliona alipost ati nimekacha(nimededi) mazee…Nataka tu kumshow mi niko poa sana siwezi nyuria hii idhaa. Niko tu poa infact nafikiria vile ntaanza youtube channel niwashow 1000 ways to stay alive, have good skin and strong locs. Mbogi ingine ikikosa story za kutrend…wanaanza za ovyo. God ndio hupeana life. Mi niko going strong mbaya sana aiseeh! Thankfully now at 4.4m, Finishing strong mazee….#jahmbyarmy, wrote the reggae music connoisseur.

The radio personality was forced to appeal for financial help from wellwishers after she accepted for specialised treatment in America when her family was coming out of a financial crisis occasioned by her late grandmother’s cancer treatment.

In November last year, Njambi sought Joho’s financial assistance on social media, with the Mombasa governor contributing Sh1million towards her medical fund.
