United States First Lady Melania Trump is expected in Kenya on Friday as part of her first solo international trip as FLOTUS.
Melania Trump on Tuesday arrived in Accra, Ghana on the first stop of the African tour of Malawi, Kenya, and Egypt.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, Kenya, Mrs Trump is expected to visit State House as her first stop. She will hold a brief meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.
The US First Lady will then visit the US Embassy in Nairobi wrapping up the only closed-door engagements on her Kenyan visit.
After the talks, Melania is scheduled to watch a performance by Sarakasi dancers at the Kenya National Theater.
Preparations are underway at the theatre where the Sarakasi crew shall present a creative piece depicting a Kenyan girl growing in the ghetto who shines to stardom.
A group of children is also listed to entertain her on Friday. First Lady Margaret Kenyatta will also be in attendance.
The Kenya Wildlife Service headquarters is also anticipating a visit by Melania Trump.
Her visit shall also highlight her passion for wildlife and conservation as she takes a trip to the Nairobi National Park where she will adopt an animal in one of the animal orphanages.
