There was drama in Westlands, Nairobi earlier this week after a woman of Indian descent allegedly aimed a racist slur at two Kenyans.
The Monday incident reportedly happened at the OilLibya fuel station. According to reports, the Indian woman, who was in a white Mitsubishi Outlander Registration KCM 531F, called a lady and a man who were in her way “Black Monkeys”.
A video of part of the incident has gone viral online. It shows the woman and man who were allegedly abused, hurling insults and attacking the racist’s car.
As this happens, OilLibya’s security guards are seen trying to contain the agitated couple – something that has not been received well by the online community.
The video was shared on the Popcorn Movement Facebook page with the caption:
“Yesterday on 14/05/2018 at OilLibya Westlands, an Indian lady in a Mitsubishi Outlander Registration KCM 531F called a lady and a man who were in her way -“ Black Monkeys”. It’s very unfortunate that the watchmen at the petrol station were defending the lady.”
