Apparently, the ‘Sultan’ of Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has gone missing.
The controversial and often outspoken politician has noticeably been missing in action and Mombasa residents are letting him know that the silence is too loud.
To drive the point home, a missing person poster of the Mombasa County boss has been made seeking his seemingly elusive whereabouts.
The poster, which carries a picture of the governor reads: “The above pictured person went missing 60 days ago and has not been seen since.”
It adds: “He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black jacket while taking selfies on snow in Europe.”
This, of course, was in reference to the governor’s excursion to Estonia on March 1, when he lead a delegation from the coastal county on a benchmarking tour aimed at securing partnerships and funding in tourism and e-governance.
The two-day official visit seems to have turned into 60 days, at least according to this poster by one, Polycarp Hinga.
