It is safe to say that musician Akothee had a blast over the December holidays. The ‘Benefactor’ hitmaker was one of the main star attractions at the Diani Beach Festival.
In addition to ‘disturbing the peace’ with a lively and energetic performance, Akothee also got to enjoy the best of Diani, including a thrill-seeking skydive.
A day before her performance, the singer decided to go for her sound check in spectacular style by landing on the beach after jumping from a moving plane.
The skydive, courtesy of the SkyDive Diani team, had the singer screaming her lungs out as she parachuted down towards the beach. At some point, she passed out, regained consciousness and continued screaming.
In a five-minute video, the singer can also be seen begging her instructor to take her back midway through the skydive.
