A teenage girl has been arrested with the cellphone used to send threatening messages to slain IEBC ICT manager, Chris Msando.
The phone is said to be among three used to send Msando threatening messages that were recorded at Central Police Station.
Police said they are investigating what details the girl used to register her line.
The girl, aged 16 and whose identity has been withheld, was arrested in Awendo, Migori County.
Reports indicate she was transferred to Nairobi and appeared before Kiambu juvenile court. She has been remanded at the Muthaiga Police Station.
She will be detained for a period of seven days to allow detectives to finalize their investigation.
The late Msando was laid to rest last Saturday at his family home in Siaya.
