After quite the hiatus from the music scene, singer Yvonne Darcq has returned, fearless and more confident.
Following days of building up anticipation on social media, the multi-lingual Pan-African singer last night released her new single ‘Fearless.’
According to the singer, ‘Fearless’ is her first single as she moves to the next level of her career.
“It has been such a long journey but finally I am moving to the next level of my career with the rebirth of the brand DARCQ. Fearless is my first single because I had to break free of fear and just go confidently in the direction of my dreams.”
The song is “dedicated to all the Africans that are doing amazing things, being fearless and challenging the status quo that Africa is poor, undeveloped, uneducated, uninspired.”
Yvonne Darq launched the video for ‘fearless’ at Onyx Restaurant and Lounge last night.
‘Fearless’ is produced by Zimbabwean born, South African based producer and artist Thaiwanda Thai. The video has been directed by highly acclaimed South African video director Justin Campos.
