KTN’s ‘Maisha Mzuqa’ presenter Jamal Gaddafi has announced an end to his stint in the show business.
Gaddafi, who became an overnight celebrity after winning the second season of KTN’s ‘The Presenter’, made the announcement on Sunday, July 9.
Taking to social media, Gaddafi announced that he is taking a break from hosting events to take on a new challenge.
Nairobi Wire understands that the new challenge is in politics where he is serving as Steve Mbogo’s campaign manager.
The TV Host who is also a fashion enthusiast is also set to become Joho’s campaign manager, reports Word Is.
“I’m going to be his(Joho) campaign manager,” he said, adding, “2022 nasimama Mvita.”
He, however, made it crystal clear on social media that he will still be hosting the show ‘Maisha Mzuqa.’
“I wanted to take a moment to thank all my fans for all the support you’ve shown me throughout my career. This has been one of the toughest decisions I have had to make.
“It’s time for me to take on a new challenge and I hope that you will still support me in my next project. I would also like to express my deep gratitude to each and every one of my colleagues and friends in the entertainment industry who have contributed to my growth as a person and as a professional. I will always be indebted to you.”
