Another Rongai Matatu and its crew are in the spotlight and as we have come to expect, it is not for their good service.
‘Machachari’ actress Grace Wangui Mburu, who also happens to be the twin sister of her co-star in the popular Citizen TV comedy-drama, Wanjiku Mburu(Mama Baha), has taken to social media to expose a public service vehicle plying the Ongata-Rongai route whose crew allegedly pushed her son out of the moving vehicle.
Taking to Instagram, the actress claims the crew of the Ongataline Sacco matatu christened ‘Florida’ pushed her teenage son out of the vehicle on Tuesday morning around 9:00 am after he insisted that he be dropped at his rightful stage at Sironik road.
The boy, 18, suffered injuries to his hand and body from the impact of the fall.
Posting a picture of her son’s injuries as evidence, a pained Grace wrote: “Dear FLORIDA Rongai matatu driver and tout.
I have chosen to forgive you for the cruel act upon my son yesterday morning around 9:00 am, where the tout angrily pushed him out of the moving mat, thus falling and injuring his hand and body from the impact of the fall; after he insisted that he be dropped at his rightful stage (sironik road) which you didn’t take heed and the driver sped off instead after the deed, amidst public outcry.”
