Residents of Dandora in Nairobi were left in shock after a decomposing human leg was found dumped near Nairobi River on Tuesday evening.
Police believe it belongs to a woman whose body parts were found dumped in the Ruaraka area over the weekend.
The decomposing leg was spotted by residents floating on water under the Mwiki-Dandora bridge.
” We strongly believe that it belongs to the woman killed and her body dumped at Baba dogo, Ruaraka three days ago,” Buruburu DCI chief Jeremiah Ikiao said.
The leg was taken to the city mortuary as investigations continue.
According to the police, investigations are ongoing to trace the killers.
