Raila Odinga’s daughter, Rosemary Odinga, is doing well, according to her father.
The leader of the opposition on Monday gave the positive update on the health of his ailing daughter who was flown to South Africa over two weeks ago for further check up after 11 days of hospitalization in Nairobi.
Mr Odinga left the country for South Africa over a week ago to visit Rosemary who has been with her mother Ida, younger sister Winnie and family doctor Oluoch Olunya.
Raila on Monday said Rosemary had made a terrific recovery and thanked well-wishers for prayers.
“We thank God for her terrific recovery, thanks to your prayers and her determination, Rozzy is well and sends greetings to all her friends and well-wishers,” said Odinga.
Rosemary was admitted to the Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi for eight days before being flown to South Africa. She had complained of migraines, prompting her hospitalisation for scans that led to the detection of the tumour.
