Flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir is now off the market after holding traditional Kikuyu dowry payment ceremony (ruracio) this past weekend at Kiganjo, Nyeri.
The lawyer who has never been shy to flaunt his possessions on social media, has curiously been very secretive with his love life. It turns out he has all along been seeing Noni Weru, a lady born and bred in riches.
Noni’s mother is a prominent Nyeri businesswoman, who made national headlines in 2007 when he kicked out then ODM presidential candidate Raila Odinga from her hotel in Karatina.
One of Noni’s sister is the wife to President Kibaki’s son Tony Kibaki.
The guest list at Saturday’s ceremony included the who’s who in politics and law. PLO Lumumba, Engineer Ephraim Maina, Ngunjiri Wambugu etc.
The parking lot was full of top of the range cars and reportedly 3 choppers.
It is rumored that the catering budget alone was upwards of Sh2 million. The amount Donald paid for his future bride is a secret, but we can guess it’s not small.
According to reports, Donald proposed to Noni aboard an Emirates flight last December.
