By now you have heard that President Uhuru Kenyatta launched a footbridge in Mombasa last week. It sounds beneath the President, but he did it anyway.

That has been the story of the Jubilee government. The president has been accused of excessive PR, launching, commissioning and taking credit for projects his government has nothing to do with.

Last week, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho told him off during the launch of Buxton footbridge, saying that the bridge was a World Bank funded project that started in 2010, three years before the Jubilee government came to power.
