Businessman Jacob Juma Assassinated

Outspoken businessman Jacob Juma has been killed.
Mr. Juma was shot dead on Thursday night at 10 p.m on Lenana Road near the Southern By-pass by unknown gunmen.
Nothing was stolen from him as two phones and cash were found in the vehicle. The driver’s window was shattered.
His car had about 10 bullets. Nairobi CID boss Ireri Kamwende said the gunmen escaped on a motorbike.

The self proclaimed billionaire had investments in the agriculture and mining sectors. He has been sued more than a few times for alleged shoddy business dealings.
Together with President Moi’s son Jonathan, Jacob Juma is said to have illegally acquire government land off Mombasa road, an issue that put him at loggerheads with the National Lands Commission.
He recently found his voice on Twitter, which he has been using to ‘expose’ corruption and ruffle powerful feathers. Tourism CS Najib Balala, Deputy President William Ruto, Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero, former CS Anne Waiguru and Treasury CS Henry Rotich were on his constant hit list.
The Eurobond topic was his personal favourite.
