Video of the Day: Magufuli Addresses Uhuru in Luo

Tanzanian President John Magufuli is a close friend of the Odingas’.
Their friendship goes way back, and it seems over the years he has learnt more than a few Luo words. At the 17^th Ordinary Session of the EAC Heads of State Summit in Arusha last week, Magufuli addressed Uhuru in Luo.
He confessed to not knowing the President’s Kikuyu language, and opted for the next best thing when trying to make him feel at home.
