PHOTOS – Illegal Multi-Million Gas Filling Operation Discovered Near GSU Camp

Police officers on Wednesday discovered an unlicensed gas filling station in a residential area near Recce Squad headquarters in Juja, Kiambu County.
The operation, believed to be a multi-million business had been going on unnoticed at Kimbo area in Ruiru Constituency.
During the raid, workers were found in the compound filling liquid petrol gas into a large haul of cooking gas cylinders, drawing it from a three-tonne truck container.
The officers who conducted the raid managed to nab the driver of the truck and the owner of the home where the business is said to have been running for more than a year.
More than 100 cylinders which were ready for shipment to various locations in Nairobi were also confiscated.
