A lighting malfunction made for a few interesting moments during a Donald Trump rally in Atlanta Sunday. A protestor apparently cut the spotlights, according to a report from The Associated Press.
The lighting director, Bob Hunter, told the AP he stepped away from his booth for a bathroom break and returned to find chaos. He said people around the booth told him a protestor reached over and pulled out a wire. Hunter got the lights back up, but it appeared Trump liked the break from the spotlight. He led his supporters in a “Turn off the lights” chant, and Hunter obliged. (TheHill.com)
