It would be accurate to say that Uganda is where Kenya was about two decades ago. While it’s virtually impossible to arrest a leading Presidential candidate here without risking massive civil unrest, in Uganda, that happened on Monday barely 4 days to the elections.
Kizza Besigye was once again put behind bars but he was later released.
Besigye and another female MP were bundled into the passenger seat of a police pickup. How many adults can fit in front there? Well, apparently many. But you would have to ‘each other’.
