As the Nairobi Senator Dr. Evans Kidero describes it, there is a project out to better the services within the Nairobi city. One of the key objectives that his governorship is out to ensure is that of improved infrastructure within Nairobi and its environs.
Speaking of the latter, traffic at some of the major roundabouts in the city was reduced after the county government did away with all right turns.
While other roads like Thika Road were experiencing heavy traffic jam, Lang’ata Road motorists enjoyed a smooth drive to town as the roundabout along the Bunyala/Westlands was replaced with signalized junctions, estimated to reduce traffic jam by up to 40 percent.
Here’s a short video clip of how drivers like Willis Raburu enjoyed the rare privilege of driving in a not-so-congested highway.
