On Monday night, on his way from Malindi, Senator Mike Sonko came across a stranded lot of Kamagut High students whose journey had been halted after their school bus broke down along the road. On seeing that they were helpless and in danger, the ever compassionate Nairobi Senator pulled over, gave them security as he assisted them to get the bus back on the road.
Posting on his Facebook page, Sonko wrote, ‘It is not advisable for schools, religious institutions or staffs to travel at night because incase of a mechanical breakdown you are endangering your lives. If at all you have to travel in a big group during such odd hours ensure you inform the police.’
Below are photos of Mike Sonko rescuing the situation.
