PHOTOS – Machakos Deputy Governor Beaten Up by Angry Women

The drama in Machakos county continues. Yesterday, embattled deputy governor Bernard Kiala was allegedly beaten up by patients at Machakos Level 5 hospital.
According to the governor’s office, Kiala was manhandled for going to the hospital to incite medical staff to strike whereas they had resumed work after a successful return to work agreement with the Government of Machakos.
He was accompanied by 5 MCAs apparently allied to senator Johnstone Muthama.
It is said that the deputy governor was at some point forced to take refuge in the ladies toilet before finding a gap in the fence which he used to flee. The MCAs who had accompanied him were also beaten up.
