Kenya’s famed boy-band Sauti Sol have just released a video for their highly sensual song Nishike. The boys finally decided to take off their shirts for the ladies to flaunt their rock hard bodies that will sure make ladies glued to their screens. The track, third single off their upcoming third album, Live And Die in Africa, is a dalliance tune where the band sings about lovers exploring their intimacy. The video tries to expound as much on the lyrics.
It seems a play on the senses, using different coloured scenes, lighting and hues to express the message effectively. It is an interesting video to say the least. None other than the phenomenal Enos Olik/Bokeh Family directed the set of this clip, which was produced by Kagwe Munga .
“Nishike” was launched on April 30th 2014 at Sankara Hotel during ABSOLUT’s exclusive event held to celebrate Kenyan MAMA nominees. Bien says of the video that took everyone by surprise, “We are not releasing this for us. It’s for the next generation to feel free to express who they truly are.”
