The story of Easter is the story of God’s wonderful window of divine surprises. This past Easter presented a window of surprises for cancer patients at the Kenyatta National hospital, where Nairobi Senator, Mike Mbuvi, paid them a special visit.
The ever philanthropic States man, took time off to donate all sorts of goodies to the patients, from fruits, snacks, blankets, ward heaters among others. Sonko, via his Facebook page outlined the events of how he spent his Easter and had this to say, “Watu wangu mko vipi? Today I spent my Easter holiday in a very special way. First by visiting cancer patients at KNH where I donated fresh fruits, toiletries, pampers, blankets, ward heaters, slippers, snacks, milk, among other foodstuffs. A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can
heal. As I was doing shopping for the patients at Tuskys supermarket along Tom Mboya street, I got the opportunity to pay bills for all the customers I found at the tills as a way of celebrating this great holiday.”
