After posing for a selfie with the president, Jacque Maribe can now boast of having taken selfies with two of the most powerful men in the country. Deputy president, William Ruto, was not being left behind in the selfie craze, which has taken over the Kenyan political scene.
It started with Machakos governor, Dr Alfred Mutua, who took one with British Ambassador to Kenya and now the president and his deputy have followed suit. This is in an effort to embrace digitalization of the government and letting loose the rigidity associated with the top statesmen.
