TNA Senator Arrested After Failing Alcoblow Test

senNominated TNA Senator Joy Gwendo was on Saturday night arrested for drunk driving. The senator was among a group of about 36 people who spent their night at the Muthaiga Police Station after failing the alcoblow test.
She was released on Sunday morning upon paying a cash bail of Sh10,000, and is expected to appear in court today.
Reportedly, the senator was driving to her Muthaiga home when police flagged her down. Her bodyguard arrived later to pick up the vehicle. On Sunday morning, two senators, Mike Sonko of Nairobi and Mongare Okondo of Nyamira arrived at the station to bail her out, only to learn that she had left.
