After a one year hiatus Kenya’s premier film awards, Kalasha Awards, are back. Kalasha is the brain child of the Kenya film Commission, a government body that was constituted to spearhead growth in the film industry.
Now in it’s fifth season, the Kenyan version of the Oscars is inviting submissions for consideration for the Film and TV awards. The entries should be sent before April 12.
Kalasha in the past few years has awarded various actors and producers and has also gone a long way to improve the film industry.
