Allan Gichigi Wins Big at 2014 Sony World Photography Awards

Kenyans continue to win on the international stage; photographer Allan Gichigi was on Tuesday announced  the Kenya National Award, winner which is part of the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards 2014.
The national award open to photographers of all abilities seeks to recognize and uncover the best single image taken by a photographer. Allan had been shortlisted in the Split Second category of the competition.
Gichigi’s winning image titled ‘Capture Kenya’ was taken at Lake Victoria and perfectly captures a fisherman casting his net.
