Arsenal Fan Kills Liverpool Fan in Meru Following 5-1 Demolition

arsenal2A Kenyan Arsenal fan took out his frustrations on a Liverpool fan following Liverpool’s 5-1 demolition of the gunners in their premier league meet on Saturday. The agitated supporter stabbed the Liverpool fan to death moments after the match came to a close.
The reds humiliated Wenger’s boys hitting four unanswered goals in the first 20 minutes of the game.
According to reports, the two were watching the game at an entertainment joint in Makutano Shopping Centre, Meru,  when the victim, 25 year old Anthony Muteithia is alleged to have started mocking David Mwangi, a boda boda operator. The latter got so bitter stabbing Anthony and killing him in the process.
According to Imenti North Police Boss, David is still at large and a manhunt has been launched.
“He was pronounced dead on arrival at Meru Level Five Hospital,” he said. “The assailant ran away but his motorbike was taken to the police station by Makutano residents.”
Reports from one of the revelers at the joint indicate the two were drunk and they could not reach any sort of understanding.
“He was also drinking beer as the game proceeded and because Mutethia was also a bit drunk, they could not come to terms over their argument. This is just a game for entertainment and he should not have got so [hot] tempered,” said a reveler who had accompanied the victim.
