Fire response has always been a problem in Nairobi county. Firemen respond poorly to fire alerts and the few times they arrive on time, their trucks’ water reservoirs are very low.  Last weekend, a fire in Kariobangi burnt down over 200 houses. Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi was among the volunteers who helped put it out.
