Gospel singer Daddy Owen is set to wed his fiancée Faridah Wambui, the Star is reporting.
The wedding has been planned for early next year in what is expected to be an invite-only affair.
“We’ve already met all the requirements as customs dictate and the only thing remaining is for the parents to give us a date for our wedding. I try to keep my private life as confidential as possible, separate from my public life, but you cannot live in privacy forever. So when the right time comes everybody will know about our wedding,” said Daddy Owen.
The ‘Utamu Wa Maisha’ singer will meanwhile be holding the second edition of the malaika Tribute Awards gala on December 17 at Windsor Hotel. Winners in the event will walk away with SH 100,000 cash prize among other gifts from different corporate firms.
“We have partnered with several companies among them Safaricom and KCB to help all the beneficiaries with sponsorship deals that will benefit them beyond just winning the award and the cash.” He said .
