Controversial blogger Robert Alai has received a lot of praise for his coverage of the Westgate terror attack. Despite not having resources of a media house, Alai provided minute by minute updates and images to his over 100,000 social media followers.
He seemed to have more information and sources than actual media house.
Among those that recognized Alai’s efforts were multi-language newspaper The Epoch Times. The paper wrote about his work on their website, and then in an unprecedented move had him on their frontpage on Wednesday.
