US president Barack Obama has sent a video message to Kenyans as they elect their next leaders in the next few days. Obama emphasized the need for a free and fair poll, and that the US will not support any candidate, but will instead work with whoever Kenyans vote for.

In the video, Obama begins with a Swahili greeting, Habari Yako, and ends with Swahili for goodbye, Kwaheri. He talks of how he holds Kenya in a special place, being the birth place of his father, and how he would love to see it prosper.
