The late environment minister, John Michuki’s widow, Josephine Watiri, has died. Mrs Michuki passed away at the Nairobi Hospital this morning, where she was undergoing treatment for cancer. It has been reported that she has had a long battle with the disease.
This comes barely 5 months since passing of her husband, John Michuki at the Aga Khan University Hospital, where he was also undergoing cancer treatment.
On his Facebook page, former information minister and son in law to the Michuki’s, Mutahi Kagwe wrote, “Very, very painful. Our mother-in law, Mrs Josephine Michuki, died early today at Nairobi hospital,”
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
