South African songbird Yvonne Chaka chaka was among the mourners who went to pay the last respect to NCIC, vice chair Mary Onyango. Yvonne Chaka chaka, has been a close friend to Mary Onyango for a long time. Mary Onyango succumbed to breast cancer last month. She had been living with it for the past 11 years and just last year discovered that it had started affecting her liver. She was also a vocal cancer awareness campaigner. May God rest her soul in peace.
