A 25 year old dwarf beggar in Saudi Arabia was living the life of a king. The beggar is reported to have been making an average of US$800 a day. That makes it over $20,000 a month, way above what an average American make. Her day job was however cut short after police arrested her.
Everyday, her father would escort her to a traffic signal in the capital Riyadh, and watch from a distance to ensure all was working out well. She said people would rush to give her money as a result of pitying her. The woman has in and out of jail for the last 2 years.
