Africa’s premier entertainment channel, Mnet, has launched a swahili channel , Africa Magic Swahili. The complete swahili channel will debut on July 1 on channel 127. To begin with it will be broadcasting on loops of six hours. Among the new channel’s line up include, Music, Talk shows, Drama series and movies. All these will be in swahili and M net Africa managing director Biola Alabi, was quick to admit that the bulk of the lineup is been sourced from Tanzania.
