The Duke of Cambridge and future King of England Prince William is in the country for the Easter weekend.
Although it has not been officially announced, the Prince is in the country to attend the wedding of a lady he was once romantically linked to. ( May I add linked by the media, since Clarence House issued a denial)
According to Daily Mail, Prince William paid for his own flight, as the trip is mostly private. A meeting with President Kenyatta was however put on the schedule where it’s said they discussed conservation and anti-poaching initiatives, as well as security and defense.
The bride to be, Jecca, is a long time friend of William and his wife the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton. Jecca’s father, Ian Craig, owns a 55,000 acre estate in at Lewa. It is here that William proposed to Kate.
Jecca and his fiancé were among the invited guests at the Royal wedding.
In 2008, Prince William missed his own cousin’s wedding so he could attend Jecca’s brother’s wedding.
Jecca is listed by Wikipedia as a ‘Kenyan Socialite’.. look away Vera and Huddah. A Kenyan socialite actually born in wealth and who has not exposed her nipples yet.
Jecca’s grandmother Delia Craig established the Lewa conservancy in 1995 (Home to Lewa Marathon). Today, Jecca’s parents run the place.
Jecca herself studied conservationist studies in London.
She was engaged once in 2008 but that did not work out.
Some photos of Jessica (Jecca) Craig.
And here are photos of the Prince in Kenya.
