Two More Suspects Arrested in Connection with Caroline Mutoko’s Robbery

Radio personality Caroline Mutoko, was robbed of goods worth half a million shillings at her home in Roslyn Gardens estate on January 14.
Two security guards, Paul Yungo and Daniel Nduru were arrested in connection with the robbery. They were charged of failing to prevent the robbery against Ms Mutoko. The two denied the charges and are awaiting trial.
Things are still unfolding as two more men, Simon Musyoki and Peter Njoroge were arrested and charged with violently robbing the radio journalist.
The two allegedly with others not before court while armed with an AK47 rifle, a pistol and crude weapons robbed Ms Mutoko off her Ipad, macbook, five wrist watches, assorted earrings and necklaces and phones. The gangsters were said to have tied up two security guards manning the radio presenter’s house and then proceeded to cut the metal grills on the windows before gaining access to the living room.
The two suspects denied the charges before magistrate Joseph Karanja and were each released on a Sh500,000 bail and surety of a similar amount.The case will be mentioned on May 5.
