Watch Citizen TV’s Janet Mbugua Kick Start Her Acting Career (Trailer)

The much anticipated Citizen TV’s news anchor, Janet Mbugua’s debut into acting has got off to a rousing start. Early March, we showed you behind the scenes photos of the beauty in action and promised to follow up on that.
Janet plays Pendo in Rush, a TV series that seeks to empower a new generation of African women to live the fabulous life and introduce them to a cosmopolitan world of opportunities. Pendo is the main character and owner of Rush magazine. Set in Nairobi, Rush ( the series), is an inspirational drama following the lives of four cosmopolitan women, who together make up a close circle of friends.
Through her magazine Rush, Pendo wants to inspire and empower other African women. Janet is also joined in the cast by Neo soul singer Wendy Kimani and Ian Mbugua in what promises to be a must watch TV series.
