Egypt uncovers ancient temple-building port
An ancient port used to transport stones for the construction of temples and obelisks has been discovered in Egypt, according to the country’s (CNN) – Ministry of Antiquities. In a Facebook post Tuesday, the ministry said the main port, used to transport stone along the Nile River from the quarries of Gebel el-Silsila, was uncovered during an archaeological expedition excavating the ruins of Kom Ombo near Aswan.
Merchant ship ‘hijacked by migrants’ off Libya
Migrants have hijacked a merchant vessel that rescued them off Libya’s coast, ordering the crew to head towards Malta, reports say. More than 100 migrants aboard the cargo ship are said to have acted after being told they would be taken back to Libya. Malta’s military said the ship would not be allowed into its waters.
Austria considers disbanding far-right group
Austria’s government has said it may disband a far-right group that received a donation from the main suspect in the New Zealand mosque attacks. Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said the government was investigating whether the Identitarian Movement Austria (IBÖ) was a “terrorist organisation”. Prosecutors confirmed that the group’s leader, Martin Sellner, received about €1,500 (£1,290) from Brenton Tarrant.

Bayern Munich have signed Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez on a five-year deal worth a club record 80m euros (£68m). U.S. orders Chinese owners to sell Grindr dating app
