Ken wa Maria Reveals Why He Doesn’t Give Interviews

Reputable and celebrated benga musician, Ken Wa Maria, well known for his hit ‘Fundamentals’, has revealed why he dislikes conducting newspaper interviews. He says it is primarily due to distortion of information prior to printing. He actually prefers TV and radio interviews, where information is tamper proof.
“You tell a reporter one thing, and they end up reporting their own things, ” he said during an interview with the Nairobi News.
However, Ken Wa Maria is still the most sought-after benga Kamba artist in Kenya currently and ‘fundamentally’ speaking, pun intended. He’s the ‘King of Kamba music’ thanks to his unique style of entertainment, hosting 40 albums and more than 400 songs under his name.
