The Makueni Governor, whose exemplary leadership and commitment to service delivery has Kenyans wanting him as their President like yesterday, got the surprise of his life as he turned a year older on Wednesday.
The former Defence and Environment minister was on a tour of Kibwezi Town when a group of hawkers surprised him with a birthday treat. Not only did they sing him a birthday melody but they also bought him a shirt.
The governor was elated as he took to his official Twitter handle to share pictures taken with the Kibwezi traders.
“Got a surprise of my life on my 64th Birthday! These Kibwezi hawkers sang me a Birthday melody and even bought me a shirt,” tweeted Kivutha.
