Musician Avril Nyambura has quashed reports that she gave birth to a baby girl.
The singer, who has been keeping a low profile on the arrival of her child, finally addressed the rumors this week. She was said to have delivered a girl about a week ago through Caesarean Section.
Setting the record straight on Instagram, the singer said that her episiotomy is proof that she didn’t have CS.
Episiotomy is a surgical cut made at the opening of the vagina during childbirth, to aid a difficult delivery and prevent rupture of tissues.
‘’Since I’m known for giving PSAs through my social media accounts (so I’m told)…let me clear some fake news…No I did not have a CS.. my episiotomy is proof of that..and I do not have a baby girl..ditch your source cause naona akishinda akiwaenjoy,’’ posted Avril.
The ‘Nikimuona’ hit maker further poured cold water on the ‘source’ of the fake news.
‘’Guys laughing in my DMs about hii story ya source..no but seriously though rudisha doe za wenyewe coz kama hata date ulikosea wacha gender we ni source wa aina gani? Haya ni hivyo nimemaliza,” she added.
